The Long Island Advancement of Small Business MISSION is to affect positive growth for small business on Long Island. We provide educational programs where businesses learn practical skills to compete and grow their business. We foster a culture that supports professional goals aimed to provide JOBS, nurture INDIVIDUAL GROWTH and GIVE BACK to the community.
We provide an environment where business owners come to share their experiences and obtain solutions to challenges. The LIASB is 100% committed to building a stronger small business community, and all membership dues are re-invested towards that goal. We are Not-for-Profit 501(c) and our Board of Directors is comprised of the best academic and business minds that Long Island has to offer
The Advancement of Small business vision is to help small business on Long Island increase their sphere of influence and their business.
To bring together small business on Long Island with 49 employees or less and help them compete for business and avail themselves of lower cost benefits.

LIASB is more than and networking group it’s where business owners, individuals looking to start a business come together for support and ideas to grow business. Through our monthly Special Events, Roundtable Discussion and Business Development sessions business owners get the information they need to stay competitive in today’s changing business climate.
LIASB understands that reaching its goal to strengthen Small Business on Long Island takes a unified effort of all influential parties and stakeholders within our communities. LIASB is proud part of a reginal organization call LIAS: Long Island Strategic Alliance. Together, the member organizations of LISA represent the backbone of the Long Island business community and the strength in numbers to accomplish its goals.
LISAB – Women's Business Committee has a mission to empower, educate and prepare our small business women entrepreneurs and students to become economically and socially successful.
LISAB – New Entrepreneurs Group give individuals looking to start a business, new business owners and individuals in transition a forum to get answers to questions they have starting and maintaining a business, share insight and best practices and support each other through a common goal to be successful.
